Thank you, but I have given up.
I cannot locate Normal.dotm. I have looked in hidden folders, and unchecked File extensions. I have done a search for the file. I have entered the path into Windows Explorer. I have searched using Bing and have found five or six different ways to solve the issue. Thanks to you, I now understand how Normal works. Herb
