Thank you, but I have tried to change NORMAL. I have also tried changing the STYLES.

Hi Herb,

What I suggested was deleting the Normal template (you'll have to close Word first) and starting over, not merely persisting with attempts to modify the existing one. When you re-start Word, you can then try updating the new Normal template that Word will create.

How do I delete the NORMAL template after shutting down word. .
