Fellow Forum Members, I need my Word365 autogenerated Table of Contents to display all TOC1 Style hyperlinks as: "CHAPTER 1 - Bla Bla" And not as "CHAPTER 1 - Bla Bla..........1-1" So in the STYLES panel I right click on the TOC 1 Style followed by a "MODIFY" menu selection. I see that the control for the Leader Dots to disappear resides within the Format->Tabs dialog window. So that I understand. However, what I do not understand is where Word365 is hiding the the ability to disable the "1-1" (Chapter-Page Number) information so that every time I perform an "Update entire table" operation on my Table of Contents all TOC1 Style hyperlinks do not appear with Leader Dots and "1-1" info? Currently I have to manually delete all Leader Dots and "1-1" info from all TOC1 hyperlinks every time I perform an "Update entire table" operation. This is something I want to stop doing. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. |
