Andrew you hit the nail squarely on the head. I just wanted to delete the Heading1 leader dots and Chapter/Page number info. In contrast, the "Table of Contents" dialog window approach Charles proposes eliminates it for all Heading levels which is what I do need to happen.
However, it would be cool if in a future WORD release Microsoft could do a GUI redesign of the TOC dialog window so it gives the user the ability to change a specific Heading level and not all Heading levels at the same time.
The screen capture below shows the actual changes I made to the code and it works perfectly. After I perform a TOC "Update Entire Table" operation the Heading1 Level appears with no leader dots and Chapter/Page number info which is exactly what I need.
