![]() Hello, I have fallen into the role of technical and content editor for engineering reports. I like to view the formatting marks when I am doing so in order to have consistent spacing and such, but I have never seen one that was this jumbled. It appears that the spacing has been replaced with a hollow box, and I don't really know what to do with this. Any thoughts? Thanks! ![]() |

I have never seen the like! Any chance these have to do with kerning or ligatures? Just a guess based on the characters involved. I am looking not only at the boxes but the underscores.
I am assuming these do not print. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 10-16-2015 at 01:03 AM. |

That is correct, they only show up when I have the view formatting option (clicking on the paragraph symbol in the home ribbon) turned on.
