Default Arrows and text boxes disappear when changing view?

Hello,

I am creating a document in MS word 2003. I created the document in print view so the width fits on a standard sheet of paper.

On my document I had to add text boxes and arrows. When I switch views to normal view or when other users open the document the arrows and boxes disappear.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Most viewers will view the document in normal view.

Thanks in advance.
