{ STYLEREF "Title"
} Insert a
StyleRef field in your footer after formatting your title using the Title style. Note, you can change the formatting of the Title Style so it looks however you want. This use is the major purpose of the StyleRef field although it has other uses. If you use one for your headings in the footer, your footer will change everytime your heading changes as well.
In a template, you could put a
MacroButton Field with text of "Type Title Here" formatted in the Title Style. That way your footer can be in your template as well. To be really fancy, put the footer in your template and then click the option for a different first page. The footer will disappear (since it is not on the first page). When the template is more than a page in length the footer will be there.
