Thanks for your reply. It makes a lot of since, that if I have just one item formatted a certain way, then I could call it with a StyleRef. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong though. I created a brand new style via QuickStyles, then went in my footer and inserted a Quick Parts Field of StyleRef, and selected my newly-created style, and my result was an error stating there's no text of that style in my document (which is in my cover page, if that matters). I clicked on the Title text and confirmed that it is indeed registering as my new Style.

What might I be doing wrong?
