i changed from ms project 2007 to 2010 here and trying to get used to it..

in ms project 2010 how do you manually write the logical relationships from keyboard? i know that when we go onto the predecessor or successor cell we do it but once we do it there is no way of editing the cell it seems. we have to write everything from beginning if we want to make a change

also when i bring the task information box, there is no tab for successor. only predecessor, general, resources, advanced ... fields but no field for successor,.

also in ms project 2007 i was able to enter the logic not only from the cell itself but when i went into that call there was a horizontal bar at the top and i was able to enter from there too. it is not here now

F2 is the edit key in all releases of Project, including Project 2010. Click in the predecessor or successor field and press F2 to enter the edit mode.

The Task Information dialog is the same as it was in 2007. You can display predecessor and success information in the Task form in the lower part of a split screen.

You may turn in the Edit bar in File > Options, Display.
