F2 is the edit key in all releases of Project, including Project 2010. Click in the predecessor or successor field and press F2 to enter the edit mode.

The Task Information dialog is the same as it was in 2007. You can display predecessor and success information in the Task form in the lower part of a split screen.

also in ms project 2007 i was able to enter the logic not only from the cell itself but when i went into that call there was a horizontal bar at the top and i was able to enter from there too. it is not here now

You may turn in the Edit bar in File > Options, Display.
