Re: #1. No. They're entirely different things. Templates are a special kind of file Word documents are created from. They ensure new documents contain a desrired standard formatting and content. Depending on the user's requirements, a template might contain a textbox.

Re: #2. Right-click on the logo, then 'Wrap Text' and change the wrapping to Square or Tight. You can the drag the logo around.

Re: #3. When creating a line using the Autoshape tools, move the cursor to where you want the line to start, then hold down the Shift key whilst dragging the cursor to where you want the line to end. You can fine-tune the line's position & angle via the Drawing Tools.

Re: #4. Check your page margins and header/footer sizes - you may need smaller ones.
