Hi Paul

Many thanks for your reply.
I tried 'Equation {=1 \# (0)}' and found that it word and add brackets automatically, but the problem with it is that when I put a citation like this, it then does not show up in the cross-reference window. Word does not detect it as citation and I can not put a cross-reference to it. So I think it is impossible to use this method.

The problem with referencing equations was that when I put '\# 0' it shows -1 that I do not understand. but now by specifying 0;0 for both negative and positive it works properly, but it is really strange why doing such a simple task should be such complicated. I think Microsoft really need to reconsider the logic behind it.

Anyway, I really respect you Paul because having such knowledge and because of the time you spend to learn all these small but very important stuff and more importantly because of sharing them with others and helping them; thanks you.
