Hi Jamal,

To get an effect like that, your 'Spatial Interaction Process' heading would need to use the Heading 1 Style. That means having the number attached to that Heading and manually numbering your Chapters (or at least inserting cross-references to the heading number for the first heading in the chapter). In such cases, you can't entirely hide the heading's number, but you can make it unobtrusive by making the point Size 1pt.

thank you for the answer Paul,

actually, this might introduce a solution for the first part of the question, but how to have the headings that spread in 2 lines to be in one line in the table of content?

please, see the attached image.
