I am used to link excel table to word document Through “paste/Paste Special/ Paste Link/HTML Format. My problem is that sometimes when I work with Word document and Excel document linked to the Word document simultaneously and edit them, Word document show a flickering blue circle and both Excel and Word are very slow, making it very hard to work with them. Can you guide me on this issue?

Presumably, that's because Word is trying to refresh the link while Excel is trying to update itself. The simple solution is to have only the Excel workbook or the Word document open.
