I use Office 365 for Mac, and in the most recent update, the search function has become incredibly annoying. Instead of being able to just click into the search bar at the top right hand corner and search right away, clicking into this area brings up a floating search bar, which you have to click into again, meaning extra clicks to be able to search.
I've also found that when searching for a phrase repeated in a document, my cursor jumps out of the floating bar and into the page, so I can be typing into what I think is the search bar, but suddenly I'm replacing text in my document. This is very annoying and there is nothing wrong with the way it was before! Anyone got any ideas for how to revert to the old way of searching? Thank you. |
