Default show task pane

hi!

I've put some panel together with Move to tab, now I want to show/hide the rightside taskbar but I don't have show task pane option as in the following description: https://www.wps.com/academy/how-to-h...rials-1862055/

Is it possible in Word 2021 to show/hide the right taskbar?

WPS Writer is neither a part of Microsoft Office, nor an add-in for it. To quote their website: "WPS Office is a free alternative to Microsoft Office to boost your productivity on Windows."

You need to address your question to wps.com

so WPS Writer is a different software (?) the screenshot looked like msWord.
Anyway the question is the same, is it possible in Word 2021 to show/hide the rightside taskbar?

Are you referring to the status bar in Word? As far as I know, you can't hide it. You can remove individual commands from it, if you right-click it and then clear the check marks for commands / options that you don't want there.

The rightside taskbar shown in your question is a feature of WPS Writer. It has nothing to do with Microsoft Word.

I have the same righside tabs, it's not a WPS Writer's feature:

Thanks for the clarification. Task panes in Word are different from the taskbar in the Windows interface.

Recent versions of Word let you group the task panes; that is correct for subscription versions at least. See the attached screen shot.

Task panes and their user interface can't be customized in Word, though.

Yes, I've grouped my tasks as shown in my screenshot(post #6), but the question is: can I hide/show the entire "tab bar", not just move in/out some tabs ?

As far as I know, you can't customize the task pane behavior. Moving panes out of the tabbed interface is a setting for each individual task pane.

Yes, I understand this, but I want to hide /show the entire tabbed interface, all my four tabs.
I actually want to always see these four tabs, possibly use a hotkey to show up if it's hidden.
