I enter the following into a cell:
=SEARCH("fireman","fire") and the result is #VALUE!. Why does this happen? Shouldn't the result be 1? The only time this function seems to work is when I type in: =SEARCH("fire","fire") The result in this case is 1. I am using Mac Office 2008. |
