Hi Friends!
Is anyone aware of a project management app that is especially targeted at authors of books and scholarly works? Should have tasks, due dates, Gantt charts for deadlines, contact info of editors and other collaborators, and should be able to integrate well with Word. ah... a dream... Any ideas? Thank you and have a good day! Susan Flamingo |

I suspect that Microsoft Project is beyond your needs and budget.

Way, way an overkill. Also in no way is fine-tuned for book/scholarly works writing. Cannot interact with Word. I am sure there must be something out there that is dedicated to this.

There are project management tools available for publishing, but that may not be what you're looking for. Be aware that industry-specific software tends to be more expensive than more generic stuff.
There are a couple of things like SmartSheet and Wrike that might be suitable...unfortunately, my work PC is pretty restricted in what I can look up. Google is your friend! Good luck! |
