First, Heading 1, Heading 2, etc are customized, not custom styles.


Title1 would be a custom style.




If you are not using Title1 in the document, it should not matter whether it is in the TOC Options.


You can create a Table of Contents field with your options and save it in the TOC Gallery if you want for reuse.
Add your own Table of Contents to the TOC Gallery
