Default How do I make Word display only 1 page

Hello
For some strange reason Word has started to display existing documents with 2 pages per screen (if there are more than 1 page and 1 page on the left if only 1 page).
I wonder if something on the internet has changed this as I am sure I never changed it (or could it be a document I downloaded which changed the settings without my knowledge).
How do I change Word to display 1 page only on the screen and full or nearly full screen as well.
I have tried settings in the VIEW tab without success. I have Word 2010 (yes an old version I know but why pay for updates you don't need).

Thanks
