As I hadn't seen this image format before, I just tried a copy paste from this page WebP - Wikipedia The graphic shows up in my version of Word without any special activities. Looking at the file contents, it appears to save natively in Word in PNG format so I'm not sure whether it was actually a PNG that Wikipedia says is a webp. Can you test copy the house image from that wikipedia page?
