Default Word 2007 - question that I am not able to describe - see sketch

Hi,

Sorry but I am not able to describe what I mean so I made a sketch. I need to add something like that showing that those couple of points are for this, and the other for this. Is it possible to add this text vertically eventually?

Thanks in advance!
