Hi,
Sorry but I am not able to describe what I mean so I made a sketch. I need to add something like that showing that those couple of points are for this, and the other for this. Is it possible to add this text vertically eventually? https://imgur.com/wduSdMG Thanks in advance! Regards |

Instead of posting links to images on 3rd-party sites, please attach a document to a post here. You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
As it is, all you image shows is what appear to be a bunch of paragraphs with some kind of bullet point.

You could use (insert) a Left Bracket ‘Shape’ and change the weight/colour to your needs, resize if necessary and manipulate it with the ‘yellow’ handle so that it has a square side, top and bottom.
Then copy it, then paste back into the document. Position the pasted bracket so it is directly over the original, then pull the handle across so it changes to a Right Bracket. Align as nessesary. Select both left and right brackets and r/click > Group. Change the wrapping to Behind Text. Both grouped brackets can be moved/positioned as one to where you want it/them and further adjusting/resizing can be done with the handles should you want to. Insert a Text Box and position over the grouped brackets. Insert your text. You may need to expand the box to fit the text. The Text Box border is set to No outline and my example below has a white background. The background (Shape Fill) can be made transparent if its size covers any of the bullet points by using a No Fill option. Click the image below to see a short video how I have achieved the above in Word 2016. Word 2007 will have similar options to use/try. ![]() |
