![]() Hello, I've got a template set up with pages 1, 2, and 3 each as a separate section. There is page numbering in a header that starts in the third section; I want the page numbering to start at "2". It now starts at "3", and no matter what I do, it will not change. I've looked at "Different first page" settings, odd and even pages settings. I'm stumped... Can anyone help? |

Page Number > Format Page Numbers
Be aware that if you start another section from this one, the page numbering will restart again and you may end up back here. |

In the Page Setup dialog box, change the "Section type" to "Even page" for the third section. To display the dialog box, you can double-click anywhere on the vertical ruler (or you can double-click the upper part of the horizontal ruler).
You can then restart the numbering in the Page Number Format dialog box, as Charles suggested.
