I suppose I found a bug in Office 2016, not present on previous versions.



Word 2016 seems having added a bug related to image resizing but not only; also general responsiveness become much more luggish.

The problem arises only after the first execution. The first time you execute Word it runs smootly. Subsequent execution becomes very slow. If you start Word in Safe Mode, then it is again fast. Subsequent executions are again slow.

I believe that many users are not aware of this behavior and simply think "Office 2016 is worse than 2013", beacuse they do not try to start it in Safe Mode.

The issue has ben replicated on many different computers (always under W10) and virtual machines, even after a fresh reinstall. It is absolutely repetitive and easy to demonstrate.

An extra information: the problem is reduced almost to zero if you enable Hyper-V and create a Virtual Switch (dont ask me why; I suppose something related to the new cooperative functions introduced with Office 2016).
