Excel 2016 Macros running slow

Hi - I was using Excel 2010 and with a large number of VBA macro codes.
I install Excel 2016 from the 365 office pack and now my macro is taking a long time to run where it only took a few seconds in Excel 2010.
Why is this and it there a solution to this without changing my VBA code?

I am using Windows 7 (64).
