Hi,
I am trying to build a figures list and a tables list separately. When I go to references-Insert table of figures I can create a list, but it includes both tables and figures by order they appear on the document. I would like to do a list with only figures and another list with only tables. How can I do it? And, some figures appear on list along with the text. How can I avoid this? I am using msoffice2013 in a windows 10 x64 computer Many thanks in advance, Silva |

Assuming that you created your tables and figures using caption labels, you can create your list of tables on the caption label (and the same for figures) which would produce two different lists.

For example you can create a list of tables by choosing "Table" in the "Caption label" drop down.
