![]() I am working on a Word 2013 directory with a table of contents and an index. The page numbers in the TOC are not right event though the hyperlinks take you to the right page. I know what is causing this. When the page numbers for the TOC are displayed they are calculated using pagination if the hidden text was displayed. The hidden text is from the indexing marks that were created by a concordance file used when I created the index. How do I get the TOC function to ignore the hidden text when calculating the page numbers? |

Is the hidden text in fact hidden or is it displayed?

When the text (the indexing {XE} fields) is displayed the page numbers are correct in the TOC. When they are hidden the page numbers are wrong.

Sorry, I quoted rather than replied. New at this. Here's my reply: When the text (the indexing {XE} fields) is displayed the page numbers are correct in the TOC. When they are hidden, the page numbers are wrong.
