Colse?
Closes? Adobe reader opens pdf documents, not MS Word. If you are referring to a pdf created by Word, how are you creating it? What process in Word? |

Hi and tnx for your reply
It closes (tnx for the correction) I am trying to open a word file (.docx) in microsoft word 2010. It opens but when I open any pdf file at the same time, the pdf file opens but immediately closes after a short while. I searched in forums and also changed the version of reader I am using but still got the same prob. |

I have not come across this problem, and cannot see any relationship between Word and Adobe Reader that might account for the problem. You would do better to ask in Adobe's forums.

Like Graham, I have never heard of this problem. If it only happens when Word is running, I would suspect some poorly-written pdf utility Add-In. If it only happens when Word is running, try opening Word in Safe mode and see if you still have the problem. If you do not, look at Add-Ins in Microsoft Word.
If it is also a problem when Word is not running, definitely try Adobe and pdf forums. |
