Default Copy Protect a word file's content

Hello everyone,

I would like to forward a word file to a colleague and I want him to be able to insert something in a table (a signature, which is a jpg, triggered through auto-correction, a little work-around to avoid expensive digital signature software), but I don't want him/her to be able to copy something from the word file's content (e.g. my signature I already inserted in the same table). Is there any way to copy protect (yeah I know, it can't be a perfect protection, but copying should be at least more difficult than ctrl c) my doc, but keep it editable for other users?

Or: Is there any way to copy protect all images used/created in the file?

I'm using Word 2010, hope I explained sufficiently. Would be very happy about help! Thank you in advance.

Regards
Tim

If you insert a suitably-formatted picture content control into the cell where the picture is to go, you can then apply Word's 'filling in forms' editing restrictions to the document - with a password, if you wish. That will prevent anyone but a determined user copying anything but content in other content controls, or formfields, from the file.

It will also prevent anyone from editing the file without the password.
You can add a non-protected section for insertion of the signature. Again, though, the protected section will not be able to be edited.

A simple screen capture will allow copying of your signature, though. The basic rule is that if someone can see something, they can copy it. As you said, it may be made more difficult, but certainly far from impossible.

Thanks, both of you!
I entered an image in the auto-correction and linked it to a shortcut: I type (e.g.) tt and press enter, which triggers my signature (Tim Tayler). So first of all it's not an image, therefore I can't use what you suggest, macropod.
I was hoping to find either something (e.g. a macro) copy protecting all images inserted in the document or a copy protection that still allows users to edit the file...
