![]() Example: Have a cross reference to 1.4 in a paragraph. 1.4 is deleted but 1.5 then becomes 1.4. The deletion cancels the cross reference? Is there a way it will go to the new 1.4 or does it need to be set up every time. Also we are locked in Track Changes do I can't turn that off. |

You can update cross-references by switching to Print Preview (press Ctrl+F2) and the going back to your previous view (ESC).
Edit: I missed the fact that you have Track Changes enabled. When Word is tracking changes, field results may not display correctly (until you have accepted changes).
