Hello People,
This is a strange one and I certainly hope my explanation doesn't confuse. On my intranet here at work we all open the same file which has several hyperlinks to other specific files which opens a PDF file. Without going into to much detail and confusing the issue. This all works fine on every other computer in our office apart from one. We have a combination of WinXP Machines and Win7, mine in fact is Win7 and so is this other PC that can't open the hyperlinks. If I re-create the hyperlink on the problem PC it works fine, this is not really an option as there are literally 100's of them. About too rip my hair out on the one any help would be appreciated Cheers Good people |

When you re-create a link on the problem PC, is it exactly the same as the one that doesn't work? To compare, press Alt-F9 to expose the underlying field code. Compare what you see with the non-working version.

Yes I re-create the link and it's exactly the same as what was originally in there, and that works. The strange thing about this is ... It's a shared file that is opened by multiple office staff members (stored on our server) and the links work fine on five other computers accessing the same file but not on this one Win7 PC. Again I thank you for your time |
