Until yesterday my hyperlinks in Word 2003 functioned perfectly as did those in Office Access 2003. Now, for example, when I hover above a hyperlink in Word, I get the message "CTRL + click to follow link" as usual, but when I click, the link changes color and nothing happens.
I have an Access table of book titles containing a column of URLs. The Data Type of this column is Hyperlink and until yesterday, clicking on the URL took me to the site of the book - now nothing happens. Since the above are both Microsoft products, I assume that the problems are related. I have made no changes whatsoever, at least knowingly, to my data. I would greatly appreciate anyone's advice. Thank you. |

Hi Susan,

Thank you for your reply. Stranger still, after two days of dead hyperlinks, they spontaneously started working again. So far as I know, I did nothing to cause the problem or to solve it; if it happens again, I'll just try to be patient.
