Now this is really tricky

The layout wanted is as follows

1 Heading 1: If it's a long heading
...it shall be indented like this
1.1 Heading 2


1.1.1 Heading 3
etc



10 But a long heading in chapter 10
..(or later chapters) will look bad, since
..the indentation is relative the side
..page


Is there any practical solution?

The document will be used as a template.
