![]() Every time I add a bullet point it is accompanied by two thick balck lines above and below. Could someone please advise me how to stop this happening? Screen Shot attached... Many thanks |

It appears as though you have a "custom border" associated with the bullet(s). To remove this border: (a) From the "Page Layout" tab, click on 'Page Borders' to get the Borders and Shading dialog menu; (b) Click on 'Custom" from the 'Borders" tab; then (c) Review the "Preview" section of the menu (right-hand side). If the two boxes (indicating the upper and lower portions of the line) are highlighted, click on them to remove the upper/lower highlighed lines. In the Apply to: section, select "Paragraph". Click OK. (See attachment for illustration).
