Are you looking at the Add-Ins under Word Options or at the Add-Ins tab. You need the ones under Word Options (Office Button > Word Options).
You want to look at both COM Add-Ins and Word Add-Ins. BTW ones published by MS have been known to cause problems as well, although I haven't heard of any recently.
