I think that's where you've gone awry. To enforce the centring, you can't mark the range of cells - you need to mark each content control individually, being sure to exclude the cell marker and, if you have a paragraph break after the content control, that too, in each case.

I think I miss something about the align restriction. I can't find anywhere to set the option, that the user are not allowed to change the alignment. I'll try to make a video tomorrow, showing what I do and not do.
