Your doc works just like I want mine to do, but I just can't get it to work. Some where in the process, I'm missing a step I'm pretty sure.

I have made all these cells, added the text content control to some of the cells, aligned them to the center. Marked those cells that I still want to be able to write text in (those with the content control elements) and then locked the document.

I have followed this guide -

1 On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Restrict Editing.
2 In the Editing restrictions area, select the Allow only this type of editing in the document check box.
3 In the list of editing restrictions, click No changes (Read only).
4 Under Exceptions, select the Everyone check box in the Groups list.
