After much time doing searches here nothing I’ve found seems to pertain to my problem; so decided to post a new thread. The only thing I’ve found on Google is how to change color of numbers in a list all at one time.
My system specs are Windows 7 Professional 64 bit; 8 Gbs ram; 500Gb HDD and USB 3.0. I have Office Professional 2003 & P.P. 2007 Home & Student. I’m trying to put the Bible into PowerPoint for SS & church to display scripture onscreen. I’ve got the entire Bible in Word, but would like to list scripture verse numbers in red as many parishioners are aged like me and have some vision problems; would like it in the following format: 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Question; is there a provision in Word to just change the numerals to red in one operation instead of highlighting each and every number individually then changing color to red? These are typed numbers, I guess? In that case, a wildcase find and replace will do the trick. Press Ctrl+H to display the Find and Replace dialog box. Click the More button to see all options. Select "Use wildcards." In the "Find what" box, enter:
[0-9]{1,} Leave the "Replace with" box blank but place the insertion point in there and click Format, Font; specify red for font color. Click Replace All. Note that if the main body of the document contains other numbers in addition to the verse numbers these will be formatted in red as well.

I followed your instructions, but when I got to the part "place the insertion point in there"; I was unclear as to what or where the insertion point was.
With no formal training just trial & error, I find Word quite formidable. First off may I apologize for not being clearer on my post. I did in fact download the entire Bible which was formated as show in the Word document attached. I did a copy and paste of the book of Genesis into a Word document using Tahoma as my font instead of 'Times New Roman'. I find this easier to read when onscreen in P.P. |

The insertion point is simply the blinking cursor. It's what you see if you just click in text (making sure not to select/highlight anything).
Your example files include pasted pictures, which doesn't tell me anything. But if you can select one number at a time, most likely they are typed in. Have you tried Find and Replace? Just in case, you can work with a copy of the document, to avoid unexpected results in your original file.

Is there a provision in “Find & Replace” to center multiply instances of the word ‘CHAPTER’ in one operation like the numerals and still maintain color red & bold font?
I’ve tried a number of ways to do this from your previous posts, but so far no luck. I know I can highlight one at a time and center all in 1 operation, but looking for the easy way as I’ve a long way to go. |

In the "Find what" box, type in chapter. Use the Format, Font control to specify the color and bold formatting. In the "Replace with" box, type in ^& and press Ctrl+E to specify centered alignment. Then click Replace All. (If you are worried about undesired effects, you could test first on a copy of the document.)
Note that the document you attached only contains a picture/screenshot of a page; it doesn't tell me anything about the formatting of your actual document.

Is there a way to eliminate the line between the last verse and chapter # all in one operation for the entire book?
What I've been doing is highlighting each paragraph symbol holding down Ctrl key & doing several at a time. |

You can replace ^p^p with ^p via the Find & Replace dialog box (Ctrl+H). Use ^p^p in the "Find what" box and ^p in the "Replace with" box and then press Replace All.
