Default Word template specify configure

Hi,

is possible to configure word template to this settings:

- locked all document except form elements (only these editable)
- to excepted form elements is possible input everething (text, tables ...)
- review is allowed

I can lock document except filling forms, but 'Reviews' is automatically disable, and for example inputing table choice is disabled too in this case.

Some way to do this with VBA or something please?
THX

You can't do both form protection and protection with tracked changes enabled; these options are mutually exclusive.

Would content controls work for you? These can be used without protecting the document. See http://gregmaxey.com/word_tip_pages/..._controls.html.

See if http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...PlusHeader.htm does what you want.

The title says "Word 2000 and higher," but you are right of course: it's best to test it first. :-)

I'm glad you found it helpful. Of course, you should really be thanking the author, Bill Coan. :-)
