My automated TOC used to be fine. But the following problems sprang up when I updated the TOC recently and they persist:
- TOC levels 1 and 2: page numbers are not right-aligned, and dot leaders have disappeared - TOC level 3: remains fine - TOC level 4: dot leaders have disappeared I don't see where to reset these settings for the respective TOC level styles in the Modify Style box and it's sub-menus. Thanks |

One method to reset the tabs with dot leaders is using the "Paragraph/Tabs" menus.
- Right-click on the TOC with an issue - Select "Paragraph" then select "Tabs" (lower right-hand corner). - Reset your tab with dot leader to your specifications. If you are using Styles, right-click on the style and select "Format" / "Tabs" and reset to your specs. |

Thanks Jim, all fixed. Part of my problem was I didn't realize I had to:
(i) 'attach' the dot leader to a particular tab stop (ii) set the dot leader |
