Thank you for your impolite reply, but I realize that
the subtle intricities of Word 2010 are difficult.
I think the equation question is good enough for
someone familiar.
But here is a more complete question:
I inserted a sigma character from the Greek and Coptic,
then I selected table's Combining Circumflex Accent and
typed 0302,Alt+X but the Circumflex does not appear.
How do I get a Circumflex on the sigma?
It is very common in literature.
