Problems with the Normal Style when applied to a document.

Thanks for the help. I didn't discover this "feature" until I'd already messed up almost half a dozen documents. At least I know to watch out for it.

By the way, consider applying the Body Text style instead of the normal style.

It occurs to me that you may be using a version of Word that doesn't show the AutoFormat command easily.
