When you say, 'Is there a solution in VBA?':
1. do you want a VBA solution to place the button in the QAT or
2. do you want the name of the button to add to the QAT so you can record VBA?

The button shows up in the File > Options > Quick Access Toolbar > All Commands and is called Record Macro / Stop Recorder
