I create a table and set cell #1 para format. Then (DOC attached) copy some lines and paste Unformatted into multiple cells :
![]() I expect para format preserved, but it is lost: ![]() Why? And what do you suggest as a workaround? Paste to a single cell works as expected. |

I have moved your question to the Word Tables forum.
So, your existing paragraph formatting in cell A1 is numbered with indent? The same thing happens here in Word 2003 and in Word 365. I do suggest that you look at How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in Word 2003 and earlier versions. I do not know that it will help with your problem, though. Workaround: You could use the Format painter or apply a numbered paragraph style as described in Shauna Kelly's article. |
