Basically, yes. Indeed, if you toggle the field code display 'on', you can use Find/Replace, where:
Find = ARABIC \s 1 Replace = ARABIC (just in case there's other '\s 1' content in your document (personally, I'd use F/R to delete all of ' \* ARABIC \s 1 ', as it's not needed).
