Trying to update a schedule using actual information is creating a problem.
Example; Establish a schedule and set a baseline. Complete a task, it started early, finished late and used more hours then established in the baseline. The task is NOT effort driven. When entering the actual data, project will adjust the actual hours based on the actual finish date or adjust the actual finish date based on the actual hours. This data is actual, it should not be adjusted in any way, shape or form. How do you stop this?? |
