Hi Julie,
Let's say I have 100 tasks which are all linked. If I increase the duration of task #1 by 5 days, I would like the Finish Date of task #100 to be pushed back by 5 days as well. However, if task #20 is 10% complete, it causes problems. Regarding your second question, are you referring to the (Options, Schedule) option called "Split in-progress tasks"? If so, the option is checked.
