![]() Filtering does not remove data - you'll need a custom group. I'm assuming you have some sort of custom field for the Coding, Requirement, Testing values. Create a custom group to group by the custom field. It will group by the field and summarize the work values. (assuming you have the field in the table.) |

When I did a group by Text1 which is the Phase Type field it did sum up the type but lost the task name. I would like the type summed up by each task. Not sure how to do this. Apologize for my newbie question. Here is what happened....
I put the file at www.peterbio.com/tempit So I am looking to show the total hours for the type "spec" by each task with the task name listed. I have a 700 line project plan. Thanks Peter |

When you created the group, did you select the option "Maintain hierarchy"?
That will show task and summary names. |
