Default powerpoint templates

Hi Folks,

hope you can help me.
I created a ppt template and saved this as *.pot file.
the template consists of a special master, with different design colors and 4 slides. what I now want to do is to make this template as my default when i'm going to open powerpoint.

I can save this template as a design and use it as default but then, just the first slide is showing up when I'm starting powerpoint.

I want to start it and want to see my template with those 4 powerpoint slides. can anybody assist please? i'm going crazy.

Working with office 2010 in Win7.

Thank you and regards

Hello, you have to save as the .pot (with the 4 slides) and replace the old one in the local templates folder such as C:\Users\ user name \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

Hope this help
